I Want Money

Posted on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 at 4:06 am

I am not a materialistic person, but if I could have anything right now it would be a lot of money.  I could pay off all my student loans, buy my uncle a new car, take my mom on an Alaskan cruise and help out all my struggling friends.  I know that money doesn’t fix everything or make you happy, but I could sure use some for good purposes.  I used to have a really good job and not ever have to worry about money.  So many people I know are very stressed out these days, and I would like to help.  I would help fund the shelters in my area and buy food for people.  I personally don’t want a lot of “stuff” but I would love to travel everywhere, and that takes money.

Help Out

Posted on Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at 1:46 am

I would like to take a moment and say something about the feral cat population.  At my home, there can be 24-26 cats and kittens in one year.  Some of them run off and predators kill some of them, but the majority stays around and has more kittens, either by the cats that are all ready in the colony or it could be a strange cat from the neighborhood.  What I would like to propose it that you get your cats spayed or neutered as I have been trying to do with the feral cats.  This will cut down on the population and give the feral cats a better life.

Financial Security

Posted on Sunday, May 6th, 2012 at 11:27 pm

I don’t think I know one person in my inner circle who doesn’t want financial security. Some want even more than that. I would like to not have to worry about working to pay the next bill or have to try and be careful knowing I can’t afford basic health insurance. Financial security is something I believe a lot of people take for granted and sadly don’t even realize they are more secure than most people in society. I’ve seen money issues lead to worry lines in people’s foreheads. Avoiding that has been one of my main goals in life.

What Parents Should Know About Fire Safety

Posted on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at 9:09 pm

In a fire, people have only minutes to get to safety, possibly seconds. Every year an average of 4000 kids die in residential structure fires, which is why fire safety advice for parents is an important subject that should be took seriously. While you cannot fully fireproof a home, you can take several steps to help lower the risk of getting injured or killed in a fire. For one, fire safety equipment, such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and escape ladders should be equipped in the home. Secondly, kids need to be taught how to get of the house and where to go. This can be practiced through fire drills. Parents should also be taught to educate their kids on fire safety and how not to play with matches or combustibles. Simple advice anybody can practice, which may mean the difference between life and death.

How My Day is going

Posted on Friday, May 4th, 2012 at 6:52 pm

My day is actually going okay. I am getting a lot of income and I will receive it in my bank account on Wednesday if not tomorrow. I’m finding some work which is also helping. It is a little hot today after the monsoon storms where I live in Arizona. I’m at the library right now and it is a different library than I usually go to. I’m also getting a lot of work done. People are being nice to me and I’m not having too much drama going on around me. School has started so a lot of kids are busy.

Safety First

Posted on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at 4:38 pm

Teaching kids about fire safety is so important. Examples of things to teach them and to practice with them are: how to stop, drop and roll if their clothing catches on fire, what a fire alarm sounds like, how to test a door for heat before opening it, how to crawl out of a window, where fire extinguishers are located, how to use a fire extinguisher, how to call emergency personnel, and where your family’s emergency meeting place is located. These are just a sampling of topics to discuss with kids and fire safety. All families should have emergency plans in place to deal with fire and other disasters.

Other Examples of Fire Hazards for Children

Posted on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 at 2:14 pm

Fire safety for children is not necessarily only about teaching them to stay away from fire: there are other ways in which children may be harmed by hot or heated elements. Scalds and burns occur when a person gets near enough to a hot item, just as they would if that person was near a fire. Children, especially , have to be looked out for when they are near these dangers, as they are not as quick to understand what is going on. Hot drinks or hot water, is a major cause of scalding with children. Hot cocoa, or tea or even hot baby formula can cause some harm to a child. Always test the temperature of a drink before passing it on to a child and avoid handling hot drinks around them. Try not to drink hot things while handling a baby or young child. Scalding can occur during bath time too. Everyone loves a hot bath, including children. Carefully test the water temperature by yourself and teach your child to test the waters for themselves. Adults are more acclimatized to higher water temperatures, and what seems fine for an adult, may not be good for a child. Earlier, we mentioned hot elements, and while some may think of pans and hot spoons, they may not remember other ordinary household tools such as curling irons or glue guns. Keep those out of reach and teach your children early to leave those things alone, whether on or off.

Why Teaching Children Fire Safety is Important

Posted on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 at 11:57 am

Fires in residential structures kill an average of almost 4000 kids a year, which makes teaching children fire safety very important. When a fire breaks out people have just minutes to get out of a structure safely. Children should be taught how and what to do in a fire, along with where to go. Many kids hide during a fire, making it hard for rescue personnel to find them. They need to be taught not to do this. Fires are often started by children playing with matches or other combustibles. Simply teaching kids not do these sort of things can reduce the amount of fires that occur, as well as save lives and reduce the number of serious burn cases a year.

My favorite Dress

Posted on Monday, April 30th, 2012 at 9:35 am

Every day I want to wear the dress made of light cotton wool. Now also I wear cotton shirt with reddish brown color. This is my favorite color most of the time I will prefer this color only with different proportions of lining on shirts. The shirt now I have worn is my favorite shirt of all time manufactured by Giorgio Armani. This is the best company for shirts and jeans I ever heard. So, always I would like to purchase this company product. Additionally this will also make me a prestigious when I wear this company shirt. Always my friends are asking how you choose the shirts please let us to know that secret. I am the only one wearing very costly shirts in my group and so many times my friends have borrowed my shirts. But I never gave my favorite shirt that I have worn today.

Home safety equipment that’s nice to have

Posted on Sunday, April 29th, 2012 at 7:16 am

There’s some good equipment to always have at your house when it comes to home safety equipment. First, it’s always good to have things like smoke alarms and fire detector alarms throughout your house. It’s also good especially if you have small children to have a carbon monoxide alarm to detect carbon monoxide. There’s also things that are nice to have, such as a fire extinguisher to make sure that you don’r run into any problems when it comes to extinguishing fires. Some other home safety equipment that’s good to have is burglar alarms, to detect burglars and know if there’s intruders.
